Our education model meets all the learning outcomes of the Ministry of National Education curriculum and extends them with four enrichment lines.
1. Foreign language
Kindergarten has a daily 40-minute English play hour, primary school 10 hours of English a week, and middle school 8 hours of English plus 2 hours of a second foreign language (German or Spanish). In high school students prepare for international language proficiency exams.
2. Science and technology
From primary school onwards there is a weekly science workshop and coding class; in middle school robotics, 3D design and science Olympiad groups; in high school a research project course.
3. Arts and sport
Every student is introduced to a musical instrument and a sport. Swimming, the indoor sports hall and the painting-ceramics workshop are part of the class timetable.
4. Social and emotional development
Children's emotional literacy is supported through a weekly guidance hour, peer mediation, volunteer projects and seminars for families.
Assessment
A grade is not the only indicator of learning. Students are assessed each term through at least one project, one presentation and one portfolio file; development reports are presented to families in writing and in person at the end of each term. In the final high school year a guidance and mock exam programme is run for the university placement process.
