The story, values and figures of Menekşe Vadisi College.
Menekşe Vadisi College opened in 1998 as a small primary school with 84 students in Çayyolu. Today we teach from kindergarten to high school, with 1,850 students and 140 teachers on three campuses. The principle from our founding has never changed: children learn when they are curious.
We teach at kindergarten (36-72 months), primary, middle and high school levels (Anatolian High School, Science High School and a double-diploma programme). We deliver the national curriculum (MEB) with a complementary enrichment programme; foreign language, science and arts hours are fixed at all stages. Our school is a licensed private educational institution under the Ministry of National Education and is subject to inspection.
Parents are involved in the education process through at least two individual meetings, a seminar and a project day each term. The Parent-Teacher Association manages event and scholarship funds transparently.
Every child is known by name; at most 13 students per teacher.
Daily English from kindergarten, a second foreign language in middle school.
Hands-on lessons in science, robotics, kitchen and art workshops.
Nine specialist counsellors for developmental monitoring, exam anxiety and career guidance.
GPS-tracked, with a hostess, serving 38 districts of Ankara.
A dietitian-approved menu, with meals cooked fresh daily in the school kitchen.
