Menekşe Vadisi Eğitim Kurumları A.Ş. ("Menekşe Vadisi Koleji") processes your personal data as the data controller within the framework described in this notice, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). Categories of Personal Data
- Parent and student identity and contact data, the student's education and development records, health information and allergy notices (special-category), photographs and video footage, bus address data, payment and invoice records.
Purposes of Processing
- Carrying out registration and educational services, e-Okul/MEBBIS notifications, student safety and health, bus and meal services, parent communication, fee and contract management.
Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK on the grounds of establishing or performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, legitimate interest and, where required, your explicit consent.
Transfers and Retention
Your data may be shared only to the extent required by the purpose with authorised public bodies and with the IT, payment and communication infrastructure providers we use; transfers abroad are made only in line with Article 9 of the KVKK. Data is kept for the period set out in the relevant legislation or, where none is stated, for as long as the purpose requires, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
The data of students who are minors is processed under the authority of the parent or guardian. Sharing student photographs and videos on the school's social media accounts depends on your separate written explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn which third parties receive it and object to its processing. Send your written request to kvkk@meneksevadisi.k12.tr; we reply within 30 days at the latest.
